The CEOi Alzheimer’s Blood Test Performance Database
As innovation with blood tests for Alzheimer’s disease accelerates, understanding how each test performs against established standards is essential to making evidence-based decisions for patient care.
The CEOi Alzheimer’s Blood Test Performance Database addresses this need. This transparent resource brings clarity to the complex landscape of Alzheimer’s blood tests by showing how the performance of available blood tests compares to published performance standards recommended by CEOi’s BBM Workgroup.
Approach
Data Submission: CEOi engaged companies with available blood tests for Alzheimer’s disease in the US, requesting they complete a standardized data table and provide a publicly available source to support the submitted information.
Quality Check: Once data submissions were received, CEOi conducted an independent quality check. Each dataset in the database is clearly labeled with its source.
Study Population: Only data from cognitively impaired individuals are included in the database. If data have been adjusted to exclude cognitively unimpaired participants, this is clearly noted in the respective data table.
